This week's Oldie But Goodie features hip hop duo Outkast's video to their song titled "The Way You Move", which was released by LaFace Records . The track became their third number-one pop single when it peaked at number-one on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2009, Billboard Hot 100 Songs of the Decade named it the 22nd most successful song of the 2000's. The song is combined with elements of Atlanta-style hip hop, bass music, and 70's soul music. This is definetly what I call a classic! 

Oldie But Goodie: "Unpretty" - TLC

"Unpretty"

This is an oldie but goodie by R&B group TLC titled "Unpretty" which was the second single released from the band's third studio album FanMail. The song was produced and co-written by Dallas Austin along side TLC member T Boz. The track originated from a poem titled Unpretty written by Watkins, which dealt with a woman's insecurities and struggle with her self-image of trying to keep up with what "society" says women should look like. The poem was an inspiration to a motivating, empowering song to help their female fans overcome the struggle of trying to "fit in". Take a listen!!
